Deniz Reno is an internationally recognized Producer / DJ / Singer and Songwriter whose sonic journey has been shaped by her eclectic background and unique ability to combine influences of various cultures and genres in her music. Classically trained in opera and flute from a young age and having picked up piano and guitar in her teens, Reno’s deep understanding of genre, music theory and the emotional fibre of sound have made her a creative force both in the studio and behind the decks.

Her signature eclectic, world-inspired sound and culturally diverse musical background ensure that her sets always take the audience on a deep journey, as she expertly weaves genre, sound and emotion within each performance. She began her journey as one of the most sought after vocalists in progressive and house music genres, and over a decade later, continues to share her unique gifts with audiences as a DJ, live vocalist and producer.

Reno’s original productions combine influences of Afro-Latin, Ethnic and Arabic influences with traditional House and Tech beats and her signature vocals. Her live performances have taken her all her the world, playing top venues in Toronto, Canada (Vertigo, CODA, Soluna, Scotiabank Arena) and the United States (San Francisco Brick & Mortar Music Hall) to Russia (Moscow, Vinzavod), Kazakhstan (De Sad Almaty) and Indonesia (Luna Beach Bali, Cretya, Canna, Kabana) and others .

Deniz Reno has released over 50 singles, collaborations and remixes on major and indie labels like Warner Music, Armada and Mau5trap Records in the past decade. Her original song collaborations and covers have earned over 50,000,000 streams across digital music platforms worldwide and been supported by the likes of Above & Beyond, Paul Oakenfold, Marcus Schossow and Myon & Shane 54.

Reno’s music has been licensed to film and television by Netflix, NBC and Channel 1 and her singles have appeared in over a dozen physical and digital compilation bestsellers like In Search of Sunrise 13.5 Amsterdam (Armada Music) curated by Richard Durand and BT, PACHA 2018 (Warner Music) and Armada Sunset Vol. 4 (Armada Music). Deniz is a member of the American Recording Academy (Grammys) and has shared the stage with the likes of Themba, Mickey Dastinz (Masaka Africa), Dimo (BG), Massianello and Conjure One.

In the past ten years Deniz has collaborated and performed with artists like Juno Nominated trio Keys N Krates on there Juno nominated record Cura and Grammy nominated producers Matt Lange and Rhys Fulber (Conjure One). Her live performances have taken her all her the world, from Canada and the United States to Russia, Kazakhstan and Indonesia.

In 2018, while living abroad in Bali, Indonesia, Reno founded her own boutique digital label Taksu Records .
